Does Workup support Reporting?

The Workup UI has various features to view and analyse data and also provides exports to Excel. We don't currently have a set of specific reports or a adhoc report builder, but that we plan to implement these in the future.

With our REST API it is possible to generate reports using report builders such as PowerBI.

What are Categories used for?

Categories are used to group and categorize related items together for reporting or filtering. Various entities such as Projects, Skills and Tasks can be categorized. Categories are user definable and can be updated on the Admin-Categories page. Often you can add new categories when editing an item such as a Project.

You can also colour code categories to make them stand out when listing a set of data items.

How can I store documents within Workup?

Documents can be stored against various entities in Workup such as Projects, Employees and Companies. When you go to the specific page there will be a Documents tab that lists stored documents and allows you to upload new documents. Workup will store a maximum of 2Mb per document but there are no additional storage fees. Various document and image formats are supported.

Workup doesn't currently support document editing and viewing, so a document should be downloaded, edited and then re-uploaded.

Can I link to Google Drive or OneDrive in Workup?

Using Entity Links it is possible to add a link to a Project, Company or Employee which can be linked to a Google Drive or OneDrive folder.

In the future we will be supporting Google Drive and OneDrive natively so you can list and update your Google Drive or OneDrive documents directly in Workup.

Can I Add Links to LinkedIn and Twitter to My Profile?

Yes you can. Using the Entity Links capability you can add URLs to LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter to your profile. Additional link types can be added by adding a link type to the Employee Links list on the Admin-Lists page.
