How do I signup to Workup?

You can access the signup page here. The different packages available are described on our Pricing page. You will need to enter your name, your organisation name, your email and a password. You can then signup to Workup and it will set up your organisation for you.

How do Invite Users to Workup?

As an administrator you can add new user accounts to your organisation. This will send an invite to the user with a default password which they can then change on first login.

Is Workup Free?

Workup provides a Start-up package that is free forever and supports up to 4 users. For larger businesses you should subscribe to our Professional or Enterprise packages. Both of these are charged per user per month but have a 30 day free trial available.

What happens at the end of a trial?

Workup will send you reminder emails as you approach the end of your trial to register for a paid subscription. If you do not register then you will continue to have access but your account will become read-only. After another 30 days, then your data will be archived and you will need to recreate your account.

Can I extend my trial?

Yes you can; please email us at [email protected] and we can extend your trial for a short period.

What Are Associate Users?

Associate users can be used for external companies, consultants or customers and it provides limited access to the platform for a much reduced cost. Associate users can generally only see their own data and for projects that they are assigned to. Create an associate user by setting the user type to be Associate when creating a new user. Associate users are charged at a much lower license cost and are only chargeable for months that they actually log in and use the system.

When and How Am I Billed For Workup?

Workup is currently billed on a monthly basis in advance, based on the number of licensed users that are active. You are billed on the anniversary of the date you subscribed to Workup. Workup uses Stripe to take payments from a debit or credit card. You can see your invoices and next invoice details on the Admin-Billing Details page. You can change the number of licensed users, your license tier or your payment method at any time.

Getting Help and Support

Currently Workup only provides UK business hours email support. We will provide additional support options in the coming months including live chat, telephone support, forums and a customer support portal. We have provided extended documentation on the application and this FAQ.

Can I add additional users to Workup?

Each month, Workup bills you on the maximum users you have subscribed to; you can change this on a monthly basis on the Billing page. You can add users to your organisation up to this limit at any time.

When Will You Bill Me?

Workup will automatically bill you at the start of each subscription month, based on the date you subscribed. We use Stripe for managing our billing process and do not hold any billing information. You can access previous invoices from the Billing page.

Can I upgrade to a lower or higher package?

Yes you can. You can do this from the Billing page, however we only allow downgrades if you do not have too many registered, active users for the lower tier.

What is the difference between the Startup, Essentials and Professional tiers?

The Start-up tier is free and is aimed at micro companies and only supports a maximum of 2 users. It has most of the functionality of the Essentials tier with a few features that are limited. The Essentials and Professional tiers are both paid tiers and have similar functionality. Some features are only available in the Professional tier such as employee expenses and document management.
